This specimen was lot 75030 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, 1714. London Mint. Anne. PCGS AU-50. Variety with 4th Bust, and roses and plumes in angles." This type was stuck 1710-14; a 1714/3 overdate is reported. It is fairly common in worn condition. The roses and plumes on the reverse were left off the 1711 issue.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
Specifications: 6.02 g, 0.925 fine silvper, 26 mm diameter.
