This specimen was lot 3128 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "ENGLAND: Charles II, 1660-1685, AR threepence, 1684/3, light even tone, bold overdate, better variety, XF." This is the most affordable of the silver minors of Charles II when compared to the silver tuppence, groat, sixpence and shilling. It was struck 1670-84.
