This specimen was lot 37019 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Crown, ND (1636-38). London Mint; mm: Tun. Charles I. PCGS VF-25. Group III. From the Richard August Collection." This halfgroat was struck by Charles I during the period he was attempting to rule without Parliament.
