This specimen was lot 626 in Sincona sale 54 (Zürich, May 2019), where it sold for 1,500 CHF (about US$1,785 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALY | Genova, Paolo di Campofregoso, Doge XXXI, 1483-1488. Ducato o. J. Mit dem Kardinalshut über der stilisierten Burgansicht. Von grösster Seltenheit. Gutes sehr schön. Knapper Schrötling. (republic of Genoa, doge Paolo di Campofregoso, 1483-88, undated ducat, with cardinal's hat. Of the highest rarity, Good very fine, Small flan.)"
Paolo was the seventh of the Campofregosi to rule Genoa.
