This specimen was lot 3256 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 1,000 CHF (about US$1,322 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 1 Sol 1603, Genf. Von grosser Seltenheit. Gutes schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, one sol of 1603, Geneva mint. Of high rarity, Good fine.)"
This type was struck 1604-06, 1609-12, 1619-22 and is fairly available in low grade but very scarce nice. This is an unlisted date. One thaler was 96 sols and one sol was four quarts.
