This specimen was lot 3248 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 40 CHF (about US$53 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, Quart 1589, Genf. Mzz. C G. Fast sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, quart of 1589, Geneva mint, mintmark CG. About very fine.)"
One thaler was 96 sols and one sol was four quarts.
