This specimen was lot 53091 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Fukien. 20 Cents, Year 13 (1924). PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield. Nearly fully detailed with soft luster and hint of tone on both sides." Although the Foochow mint struck numerous varieties of ten and twenty cents during the republic, no large denominations were issued.
