The Fuggers, a family of merchants who financed the Hapsburgs, split into many lines in the sixteenth century. The Fugger-Nordendorf line was erected in 1560 and fell extinct in 1669, only to be erected a second time in 1677. At the time of the German mediatization by Napoleon in 1806, the estate was divided into Prince of Fugger-Babenhausen, the Count of Fugger-Glött, Count of Fugger-Kirchberg-Weissenhorn, Count of Fugger-Kirchheim and Count of Fugger-Nordendorf. The territory was partitioned between Wurttemberg and Bavaria. This is the only thaler of this state.
