This specimen was lot 5149 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 3,000 CHF (about US$4,522 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Freiburg/Fribourg, Stadt und Kanton, Dicken 1556, Freiburg. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. Dunkle Patina. (Switzerland, city and canton of Fribourg, dicken of 1556, Fribourg mint. Rare, Good Very Fine, Dark patina.)"
Numista lists this type for 1530-31, 1540, 1548, 1556, 1560 and 1571, some with two digit dates. Other dates may exist. The dicken was twenty-four kreuzer or one-third thaler in the sixteenth century.
