This specimen was lot 3000 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $190.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRENCH INDOCHINA: 5 centimes, 1938, only one example with a higher grade, PCGS graded MS67." This type was struck 1923-25, 1930, 1937-38. The type is common but this is a scarce date, being superseded that year by a nickel-brass type (KM 18.1a).
