This type was struck 1937 only. It is the last and most common of the silver ten cent pieces and was accompanied by a silver twenty cents (KM 17.2). The next issue of ten cents, in 1939, was in base metal.
Recorded mintage: 25,000,000.
Specification: 2.7 g, 0.680 fine silver.
