This specimen is a common date of a series struck 1931-41 during the last years of the Third Republic of France. Most of the dates are common, except for the 1935, but are not readily available in nice condition. There are similar one franc and fifty centimes issues.
Recorded mintage: 12,394,000[1].
Specification: 8 g, aluminum bronze, 27 mm diameter, plain edge, designed by Pierre Alexandre Morlon (1878-1951).
