The specimen shown is a ten centimes of a type struck under the Third Republic of France 1917-38. All are Paris mint issues except for some struck 1922-24 at Poissy. There are 25 dates in the series but only the 1928 is even slightly scarce. Bronze ten centimes were not discontinued until 1921.
Recorded mintage: 33,488,706.
Specification: 4 g, copper-nickel, 21.3 mm diameter, plain edge, designed by Emile Lindauer.
