This type is listed for 1794-95 and was struck in Foligno, a temporary mint. It is undated but shows the regnal year (XX) on the obverse. French invasion and internal revolution caused the delicate economy of the Papal States to collapse and with it the papal currency. In an attempt to refloat commerce, temporary mints were opened to mint large quantities of copper coinage.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 10.6 g, copper.
