This specimen was lot 1060 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), where it sold for $630. The catalog description[1] noted, "Fiji. 100 Dollars, 1995. Silver Jub[il]ee of independence. Choice Brilliant Proof." Sterling coinage was issued for the islands starting in 1934. Decimal conversion occurred in 1967-69, the same time as Britain. Fiji left the British Commonwealth in 1987 but rejoined in 1997.
