This specimen was lot 970 in Jean Elsen list 269 (Brussels, July-August 2014), where it was offered for €375 (about US$510). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ILES FIJI, Elisabeth II (1952- ), AV 200 dollars, 1991, Ratu Seru Cakobau - Save the children. Ecrin. Flan Poli (Fiji Islands, Elizabeth II (1952-), gold two hundred dollars of 1991, "Save the Children," proof.)"
Sterling coinage was issued for the islands starting in 1934. Decimal conversion occurred in 1967-69, the same time as Britain. Fiji left the British Commonwealth in 1987 (hence the absence of the queen's portrait) but rejoined in 1997.
