This specimen was lot 1577 in Sincona sale 82 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 26,000 CHF (about US$34,796 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Elizabeth I. 1558-1603. Gold 1/2 Pound n. d. (1594-1596), Tower Mint. Sixth issue. Mintmark "woolpack". Selten (Rare). NGC AU53."
