This specimen was lot 74680 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (1356-61). London Mint. Edward III. NGC AU-50. Pre-treaty period, series G. Obverse: Crowned facing bust; Reverse: Long cross pattee; triple pellets in quarters. Sharply struck and attractively toned, with some hints of brilliance remaining as well."
