This specimen was lot 5014 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €280 (about US$385 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ENGLAND, AB 1707 GROSSBRITANNIEN, AB 1801 VEREINIGTES KÖNIGREICH Aethelred II, 978-1016. Penny, um 1009-1017, Winchester. Last small cross type. Münzmeister CVNA (Canna). Büste l.//Kleines Kreuz. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 425, Osnabrück 2025, Nr. 1657. (kingdom of England, Aethelred II, 978-1016, penny, circa 1009-17, Winchester mint, last small cross type. Obverse: bust left; reverse: small cross. Very fine to extremely fine.)"
