This specimen was lot 71372 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2023), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "EL SALVADOR. 25 Centavos, 1911. Birmingham (Heaton) Mint. NGC MS-62. This beautiful example displays a glimmering eye appeal and only light handling." This type was struck at Heaton in 1911 along with a five and ten centavos.

Recorded mintage: 600,000.

Specification: 6.25 g, 0.835 fine silver, 24 mm diameter.
