This type was struck at Brussels and Philadelphia 1892-96 and 1904-14. It is fairly common in circulated condition. The Philadelphia issues may be distinguished by a broader shoulder and heavier jowls on Colombus's face.

Recorded mintage: 600,000 struck at Brussels (shown here) and 400,000 struck at Philadelphia (KM 115.2).

Specification: 25 g, 0.900 fine silver, .723 troy oz ASW.
