This specimen was lot 460 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it sold for $381.88. The catalog description[1] noted, "OTTOMAN EMPIRE: Murad III, 1574-1595, AV sultani, Misr, AH982, minor weakness, EF to About Unc, ex Hazerfans Collection." Murad III died in 1595 at the age of 48 years, leaving the empire at its territorial zenith.
