This specimen was lot 76559 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT. 1/2 Millieme, AH 1348/1929-BP. Budapest Mint. Fuad I. NGC MS-64 Brown." This type was struck in 1929 in Budapest and in 1932 in Birmingham. The two dates are priced the same. The other denominations of 1929 (one, two, five and ten milliemes and two, five, ten and twenty piastres) were likely produced under the same contract.
