This specimen was lot 23427 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (Newport Beach, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. Centavo, 1984-Mo. Mexico City Mint. NGC PROOF-65 Cameo. KM-64. Mintage: 1,600. A flashy Proof Centavo with light obverse toning that exhibits a faint blue hue." This type was struck 1984-87. The proofs are scarce, along with KM 64a struck in silver for collectors.
Recorded mintage: 10,000,000 + 1,600 proofs.
