This specimen was lot 56441 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Portuguese India. Diu. 1/2 Pardao (150 Reis), 1806. Diu Mint. Maria I. PCGS EF-40." By 1806, Portuguese holdings in India were limited to Diu, Damao and Goa. Each had a mint which struck hammered coinage until the 1860's. This silver 150 réis was accompanied by a silver 300 réis and 600 réis (rupee).
