This specimen was lot 1217 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $446.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "DEWAS SENIOR BRANCH: Krishnaji Rao, 1860-1899, AE 1/12 anna, 1888, bust of Victoria Empress, a lovely mostly red lustrous example, PCGS graded MS63 RB." A 1/12 anna was also issued by the junior branch of the house. The two branches attempted to rule their domains as separate states altho their properties were irretrievably entangled.

Recorded mintage: 112,000 + proofs.
