Stephen Album sale 43, lot 1187

This specimen was lot 1187 in Stephen Album sale 43 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2022), where it sold for $450. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK: Frederik IX, 1947-1972, AR 5 kroner, 1964, Wedding of Princess Anne Marie, very rare as a specimen strike! PCGS graded Specimen 67, RR." Anne Marie married king Constantine II was queen consort of Greece 1964-73. A copper-nickel five kroner (KM 853.1) was struck for circulation.

Recorded mintage: 359,473.

Specification: 17 g, silver, 0.800 fine, 33 mm diameter.
