This specimen was lot 42192 in Stack's Bowers Winter sale (Baltimore, November 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 25 Ore, 1960-C S. NGC PROOF-66 CAMEO. Oak Branch Reverse. Stands alone as the finest graded at PCGS and NGC. First year for the oak branch reverse type. No spots, tone or fog, a near perfect piece and highly in demand as such." This specimen is a copper-nickel twenty-five øre issued under King Frederik IX, and was issued 1960-67. It superseded an earlier type (KM 842.2) with a different monogram of the king. It is worthless in all grades, tho the SCWC does not list proofs. The privy mark (for Copenhagen) is shown as a small heart on the reverse, along with C and S, the initials of the mint officials.

Recorded mintage: 3,453,000 (including KM 842.2).

Specification: 4.5 g, copper-nickel, 23 mm diameter.
