The first specimen was lot 10018 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €552 (about US$575). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Hvid, ND (1483-1513). Copenhagen Mint. Hans. NGC EF-45. Presumably struck in the 1490's under the auspice of mintmaster Hermann von Nassau. Very good for type. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex. Johan G. Guildal Collection (Private Sale - 1918)." The second specimen was lot 10021 in the same sale, where it sold for €1,320 (about US$1,375). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Hvid, ND (1483-1513). Malmö Mint. Hans. NGC AU-58. Lustrous and beautifully toned, an absolute gem for type. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." The third specimen was lot 10022 in the same sale, where it sold for €240 (about US$250). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Gotland. Hvid, ND (1483-1513). Visby Mint. Hans. NGC AU-53. Excellent condition for type. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex. Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale - 1922)."
