This specimen was lot 12445 in Ponterio sale 177 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $8,812. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. Danzig. Ducat, 1653-GR. NGC MS-62. John Casimir (1649-68). RARE and choice for type." This type was struck 1649-57. It appears fairly regularly in auctions but is always expensive.
