This specimen was lot 74529 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $65. The catalog description^[1] noted, "CYPRUS. 1/2 Piastre, 1944. London Mint. George VI. PCGS MS-63 Brown." This type was struck at the London mint for the island of Cyprus 1942-45. One pound was 180 piastres.
