This specimen was lot 71301 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "COSTA RICA. 250 Colones, 1982-FM. Franklin Mint. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. Conservation series. Featuring the jaguar, this sharply struck issue exhibits wholly brilliant fields and devices that are highly frosted." This NCLT accompanied a gold 1500 colones (KM 213).
