Constance in 1803, on its annexation by Baden, from Putzger's atlas

This specimen was lot 2121 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 225 CHF (about US$269 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"Konstanz, Stadt, 15 Kreuzer 1636. Gutes vorzüglich. Kleines Zainende. (Germany, city of Constance, fifteen kreuzer of 1636. Good extremely fine, Minor edge clip.)"

We don't know if this is coincidence, but the plate coin in the SCWC also has an edge clip.
