This copper-aluminum nickel 20 pesos is of a type issued for Colombia 1989-1994. Varieties exist in the number of beads around the rim. The brass twenty pesos of 2004-08 ended the denomination, inflation having rendered it worthless. Currently (April 2025), US$1 = 4,350 pesos.

Recorded mintage: 132,600,000.
