This specimen was lot 44537 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $156. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 100 Pesos, 1971. PROOF-67 DEEP CAMEO (PCGS). 6th Pan-American Games. Hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo devices. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." Nickel five pesos (KM 247), gold 200 pesos (KM 249), 300 pesos (KM 250), 1500 pesos (KM 252) and 500 pesos (KM 251) were also issued for this occasion.
Recorded mintage: unknown but all proofs.
Specification: 4.3 g, 0.900 fine gold, 0.123 troy oz AGW.
