This twenty centavos was struck in Bogotá, Colombia, a type issued 1967-69. It is common in all grades. The portrait is of Santander, not Bolivar as was previously customary. It replaced a copper-nickel type issued 1956-66. The last twenty centavos was struck in 1979.
Recorded mintage: 26,680,000.
Specification: 4.5 g, nickel plated steel, 23.6 mm diameter.
