This aluminum-bronze two centavos was struck in Bogotá, of a type issued 1918-22 and 1933-47. A 1946/36 overdate is noted. The earlier dates were minted in Philadelphia. It was replaced by an aluminum-bronze type issued intermittently 1952-1965.
Recorded mintage: 2,593,000.
