This specimen was lot 1942 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,531 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"KÖLN, ERZBISTUM, Friedrich III. von Saarwerden, 1371-1414. Goldgulden o. J. (1402), Bonn. GOLD. Sehr schön +. (Germany, archbishopric of Cologne, Frederick III of Saarwerden, undated goldgulden. Very fine or better.)"
The archbishop issued eight different goldgulden during his long reign, of which this one is common.
