This specimen was lot 22435 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. 10 Yuan, 2002. Panda Series. NGC MS-70. Panda Series. A perfect, flawless Gem, this dazzling piece is free from any spotting or haziness, and offers incredibly mirrored surfaces and frosted devices." This type was struck 2001-02, an unusual example of a panda design being used for more than one year. There is also an unofficial colored version listed in the SCWC.
