This specimen was lot 52411 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $25,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Dollar, ND (1923). NGC MS-61. Tsao Kun in civilian clothes Constitution commemorative type. A handsome and lustrous example with bold intricate design features and lustrous surfaces exhibiting signs of handling consistent for the grade displaying a thin layer of lovely delicate patina adding its pleasing appearance. This popular commemorative issue is always heavily sought after [and] sure to catch the attention of many collectors."
