This type was minted in Santiago, Chile, 1867-81. A debased half decimo (KM 137.3), only 0.500 fine, was also struck 1879-94.

Recorded mintage: 194,000 plus 1,205,000 of KM 137.3.

Specification: 1.25 g, 0.835 fine silver, 15 mm diameter, reeded edge.
