This specimen was lot 4687 in Goldberg sale 65 (Los Angeles, September 2011), where it sold for $3,105. The catalog description[1] noted, "Chihli. 50 Cents (1899). Year 25. Kuang-hsu Yuan-pao. Dragon. Sharply struck with attractive toning. Rare date. NGC graded EF-45."
