This type was minted in France 1974-79, 1982, 1985-92, 1998 and 2003 for the Central African States, a monetary union of Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Gabon and the Congo. It is accompanied by five, ten, twenty five, fifty, one hundred and five hundred francs.
Recorded mintage: 4,000,000.
