Shown is a billon two sous struck in Paris for the French colony of Guiana. This type is listed for 1780-90 but the SCWC notes that counterfeits abound. The brassy look of this specimen suggests that it may be one of them.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: billon, 23 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM 1.
