This category lists all early Islamic coinage pertaining to the Ayyubid Dynasty in the Middle East (AH566-633, 1171-1341 AD). It was founded by the famous conquerer Saladin and centered in Egypt. It eventually grew weak and gave way to the Abbasid Dynasty by about 1250 AD.
