This specimen was lot 3264 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $55. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA: Elizabeth II, 1952-2022, AR 3 dollars, 2017, Signs of the Zodiac Series - Sagittarius, contains 0.256 troy ounce of pure silver, with COA and original Royal Canadian Mint case of issue, Proof. A clear Swarovski crystal aligns with the sign symbol, with dark blue crystal at the center representing the sign's color. As per the Royal Canadian Mint, 'The zodiac has a long, rich history that dates back to Hellenic and Babylonian civilizations, when astrology and astronomy were virtually inseparable. Today, its 12 signs entertain, intrigue or inspire millions of people worldwide, who find hope or guidance in the cyclical alignment of the stars and planets! The stars align in the 2017 Zodiac series, which features sparkling Swarovski crystal embellishments within a coloured and engraved rendition of the zodiac.'" In 2017, this denomination was used for KM 2327, 2330, 2331, 2332, 2333, 2334, 2335, 2336, 2337, 2338, 2339, 2340, 2341, 2342, 2343, 2344, 2345, 2346, 2347, KM 2348 (shown here), 2349 and 2350.
