This specimen was lot 1535 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €280 (about US$371 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"CANADA, Elisabeth II (1952-), AV 100 dollars, 1994. Effort de guerre pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Flan poli. (dominion of Canada, Elizabeth II, 1952-, gold hundred dollars of 1994, honoring the war effort during World War Two. Proof.)"
Gold one hundred dollar gold coins were struck to this standard 1987-2003, each year with a different subject. All are priced the same in the SCWC.
