This specimen was lot 70517 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 100 Dollars, 1992. Ottawa Mint. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. Celebrating the 350th anniversary of the founding of Montreal, this nearly-flawless Gem dazzles with an incredibly alluring cameo nature on each side." Gold one hundred dollar gold coins were struck to this standard 1987-2003, each year with a different subject. All are priced the same in the SCWC.

Recorded mintage: unknown but not rare.

Specification: 13.34 g, 0.563 fine gold, AGW: 0.25 oz, 27 mm diameter.
