This specimen was lot 1031 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), where it sold for $500. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada. 100 Dollars, 1991. Ship Empress of India. In original case. Choice Brilliant Proof." Gold one hundred dollar gold coins were struck to this standard 1987-2003, each year with a different subject. All are priced the same in the SCWC.
