This specimen was part of lot 50367 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $258. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 5 Cents, 1930. PCGS MS-64 Secure Holder. Lustrous." The type was struck 1922-36 (superseding a silver coin similar to the half dime) and is common in circulated condition.

Recorded mintage: 3,704,673.

Specification: 4.60 g, nickel, 21.2 mm diameter.
